hmm

I don't know what guys want... okay well im not stupid... i know that! but i mean in general they just confuse me. I'm really not good at this whole thing and I'm pretty shy, when I'm not drunk... so ya... he's making me confused. If he does like me he should just say something, then we'd be on the same page.

Nobody understands school

OKAY! When you're in school and you have family or friends that aren't... they just FREAKING don't get it! When you're a full time student and your in college, university, or any combination of the above, outsiders, just dont understand the work that is involved. One hour in class= three hours of homework, studying and assignments. It's intense and it's a lot of freaking work.
Heres what happened. I came home from school on tuesday afternoon. I had just handed in my History paper and somehow managed to stay awake for a 3 hour lecture. It was brutal considering id been up till 3:30 the night before. Anyways, I get home and my step mom starts telling me all about this movie that she borrowed, and yeah it sounded great, but i had another paper to write, due wednesday afternoon. So, I set to work and about 20 mins later she pops into my room. "Aren't you going to watch the movie with us?" I'm pretty shocked and in my head I say: "uh no, what the hell, I just told you I have to write a freaking paper." Out loud I say: "no, i have to write this paper." So then i hear her cross the hall and tell my dad, in a very pissed off voice, that I don't want to watch the movie with them. OF COURSE I WANT TO WATCH THE MOVIE. I CAN'T I HAVE A PAPER TO WRITE!

Car Club!

I guess I joined a car club! Crazy eh? Now, I love my car, but what the hell am I going to do in a car club??? Sure I'm learning, but I'm still gonna be the biggest poser ever. "I paid your dues, your in the club." Duane told me this about 4 hours ago. Now... hhah im stoked but nervous. Ah well, it'll be fun i guess. I'm the only girl. So... ya... hahaha. Duane said that either his car or my car will be the fastest Honda in the club. We figure that his is faster than mine. We both have the doch v20, but his car is smaller and all that jazz. Omg every few minutes i have this thought come up in the back of my head, you have no business being in a car club hahah. AHHHHHHHHHH

Does anybody remember when the gilmore girls was good?

I'm sitting here, on a tuesday night, at 8 o'clock just like every other week, watching the gilmore girls. Now I've been watching the gilmore girls since it started. I remember the first season, and not just because I watched it on dvd, but because I experienced it for real! It was great, it really was, inspiring really. There were complex issues, highschool drama, small town quirks. How can anybody forget the complex triangle of a relationship between Rory, Dean, and Jess? The show was brilliant.
Its been 7 years now and I couldn't be more disappointed. The characters are still there (for the most part) but something is still missing. Logan has been acting like a jerk. Lorilai married Christopher! Luke has a daughter... it's not the old gilmore girls. It's not the same.

STUPID ESSAYS

Gah, I'm sitting here in the library (not on a trip to see my uncle cuz i couldnt find my passport) and I'm just so frustrated. I have a research essay that is due in 2 days and I'm just working on it (or procrastinating anyways) but the instructions I got from my prof are cryptic! Doesnt anybody else hate that? When you get an assignment but they wont tell you exactly what they want? They give you instructions to go see the librarian for help... but as nice as he is.... he doesnt even end up helping you that much! It just freaking sucks I tells ya. Well I guess I should get back to work... I'm easily distracted. There is alot of graffiti here by the way, like seriously, I thought this was college! I don't actually care why youre heartbroken, and yes, I know that I shouldnt do drugs. But what I'm really wondering is why the hell are there so many swastikas???

Scarlett O'hara Hamilton Kennedy Butler

Now... I wanted to write a blog on why Scarlett is the most amazing fictional character ever created, her strengths and attributes and why I love her!

1. Every guy wants her: Charles Hamilton, Frank Kennedy, Rhett Butler, and finally Ashley Wilkes.

2. She made it through her first two husbands dying. Maybe she didn't really love them... but that shows strength too, she was willing to marry men she didn't love in order to support her family and Tara.

3. The Civil War, she made it through the war and reconstruction.

4. She gave birth to 3 children (4 if you read the sequel). Enough said.

5. Starvation, Scarlett and her family, not to mention the wilkes', faced near death during and after the civil war. But Scarlett was able to make the most out of her beloved Tara.

6. Back-stabbing old biddies (especially India Wilkes) who thought she was only out to get Ashley (which may have been true). Scarlett faced them all down and showed them that she did not care what they had to say about her.

7. Losing Melanie. It may have taken her too long to realize how much she loved and needed Melly, but it would be like finding your best friend and having her ripped away from you the second you've realized the depth of your kindred spirits. Melanie knew that Scarlett loved her though.

8. The death of her beloved daughter Bonnie. Scarlett persevered through that trying time, and fought onwards. She also lost her Mother Ellen, and her father Gerald, both of whom she loved dearly. Scarlett was left to care for her two younger sisters.

9. The miscarriage. Rhett accidentally pushed her down the stairs forcing her to lose her unborn child. That was a scarring and emotional trauma. Again Scarlett fought on.

10. Living your life with a belief in your love of one man, only to find out, you've loved your husband the whole time. It would have been very difficult for Scarlett to admit that she was wrong about her love for Ashley.

11. Losing all of your childhood friends in a war that you don't even support. She was against the war from the start, and to have her first husband and all of her friends (both of the Tarleton twins!) die

12. She isn't beautiful, but nobody ever noticed that about her, she was just so charming.

13. She was one of the only women making money on her own, in a world where it was taboo for her to be doing so. Yet she still managed to so in a society that ostrascised women like Belle Watling for doing so in an untasteful manner.

14. She wore corsets, that must have hurt.

15. The one man she truely loved left her. That must have been the most painful experience for Scarlett above everything else. She realized too late that it wasn't Ashley that she loved it was Rhett. Because its tragic for them to be on different paths when clearly they are meant to be together

Here I am

Well, I'm just sitting here. I've folded my laundry. I've tuned the T.V. to the history channel. What else is there to do but blog? Erika you would be so proud, I've followed in your footsteps and began a blog. No fancy anchorman quotes though... oh what the heck. "Milk was a bad choice!" As it often is for me, unless there is a lot of chocolate involved.

I had a long night at work. Some jackass was yelling at me because of store policy. Honestly, theres nothing I can do, so calm down! One good thing came out of it though, I realized that I lack people skills, I really do. It's past than just being shy. I just don't relate to others very well. Can't talk to my parents, can't talk to my friends all the time... I just can't open up. What I'm wondering though, is what I can do about it? Because it's beginning to create problems in all parts of my life. I keep thinking that if I just find that right guy then maybe I WILL be able to. Only, I can't seem to get past the first phase. I'm not flirty and I really need to be pushed. I guess it just takes time. Only, I'm sick of waiting.

I guess on the bright side, I have Stache...

Well, what else can I blog about? So far I've got life, anchorman, and my cat. That's pretty complete if I do say so myself. So I guess I'll get back to writing that short story I've been playing with. I think I'll send it to Carl Peters. He is so good with that kind of thing, maybe he could give me some pointers.
